We fight SPAM!

We use SpamAssassin to fight SPAM. SpamAssassin is powerful software that cuts down on spam on our web servers.

How does SpamAssassin work? It uses a rule base, and a wide range of heuristic tests on email headers and body text to identify “spam”, also known as unsolicited commercial email (UCE).

SpamAssassin applies a number of tests to an incoming message, and each test returns a score. If enough tests return a combined score that is high enough, SpamAssassin tags the message as spam.

We also use CLAMAV antivirus and we use several RBLs such as SpamHaus.
