OFFICE OF THE NEW YORK STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL The New York state attorney general has a site to help coordinate charitable activities providing relief for the World Trade Center attack. The Attorney Generals Office oversees all charities that do business in New York State. The site lists more than 190 organizations that have registered with the state agency, and includes information about their financial filings and goals. Donors can search by category to help them choose which charities to
support. Victims with particular needs can search for charities providing
appropriate relief. And charities can use the site to identify unmet
