Are you watching sensationalist TV reports and gobbling up major newspaper articles? Trying to find a balance between living your life AND keeping up to date with current events? Spend a little less time glued to mainstream TV and investigate what others have to say.

The best course may be to find a few intelligent information sources and rely on them. Build your own list of sources of information!

Definitely a great choice. Here in the SF Bay Area we have kpfa 94.1. Every town in the USA has public radio.

(2) Political analysis, foreign affairs, and global intelligence

We have been thrust into a global crisis. Political analysis and intelligence reports are useful.

Stratfor is one global intelligence provider. Their site offers many inciteful articles, although some are for subscribers only:

There are no winners in war. Visit these sites that provide balance to the rampant war hysteria of the mainstream media. They regularly update links to important news from around the world.
