Improve Energy Reliability and Safety AND Help the Planet

Join Environmental Forum of Marin this February 4, 2020, for their next Community Education Event entitled "Community MicroGrids: Renewable Energy and Resilience."

Speakers are:

  • Peter Asmus, Research Director of Guidehouse

In the Fall of 2019, the Bay Area experienced widespread power shutoffs for 3 - 6 days due to the extreme weather and fire. • Distributed Energy Resources (DERs)
  • Advances in energy storage and solar + storage
  • Community Microgrids as an approach to energy resilience
  • The Advanced Community Energy (ACE) Initiative

  • Current microgrid projects in California and Marin
  • Marin groups involved in supporting new energy approaches
