Kahl Consultants File Conversions with Different File Types

Converting the format of an unknown file type into a format that you can open can be a hassle, especially now that most people are now working from home and may not have tech support at their fingertips.

Have you ever received an important document or image only to find that you cannot open it because you don't have the correct program to open that specific file format? A file format is based on the way a file has been saved and which programs you can open it with. To see the file format you simply check the file extension.

What is File Extension?

File extensions determine which app or program to use to be able to open or access the file. You can find the file extension at the end of your file. Below are some examples of different types of file extensions and how to see them.
