Kahl Consultants Yes You Can Fight Robocalls

Everyone is so annoyed by all the useless robocalls that many people won't even answer their phones anymore. There has to be a way to fight this plague of unwanted calls by automated devices!

Well yes, there is.

Try these simple steps!

  1. Register with the National Do Not Call list - Add your phone number to this list in less than 60 seconds.
  2. Do not answer unrecognized calls - Try to avoid answering callers you do not recognize. Every time you answer a spam call, you’re letting the scammers know your number is real. Legitimate callers usually will leave a voice mail or send a text.
  3. iPhone Protection - Yes, your iPhone lets you silence all incoming calls to your phone that aren’t in your contact list. Click to view the instructions.
  4. Android Protection - Android phones have features to help protect you from spam calls:
    Click your Phone app
Tap More options (the three dots in the upper right) and select Settings
Look for Spam and Call Screen
Toggle “See caller & spam ID” on or off.
  5. Spam Call Blocker Apps - There are several third-party apps that you can use to block robocalls. Note that some of these are not secure, since your personal information on your phone may be used and sold by them.
