Full Moon

Full Moon and Bright Planet

This coming August 26, 2018 at 4:56 AM we'll get to see another full moon!

The full moon of August is also called as Sturgeon moon because it is when this large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water like Lake Champlain is most readily caught.

On the same day, Mercury will be visible very close to the eastern horizon equal to the brightness of the star Vega. But it should be visible without optical aid by the 22nd.
